What is a Chakra?
Chakra means “wheel of light” and refers to the spinning vortex of energy created when magnetic energy from earth and electric energy from the planets meet. This meeting of energies propels our life force!
Chakras are the centers in our bodies through which energy flows. Sometimes referred to as a “filtration system”, the seven chakras work as a model for the flow of energy that runs through life and through the human energy system. This model originated in India over 20,000 years ago.
The health and integrity of your chakras are maintained through a healthy, grounded lifestyle and positive thinking. We all know this is not usually possible for 100% of our lives. Even the most highly evolved, grounded individuals suffer from life’s challenges. When a chakra gets blocked via normal life stresses and habits, it can often lead to illness or a reduction in one’s vibration.
